Carry On, Carry On

Talking mutes is what we are
Afraid to utter against the pain
The talons gripping our hearts in fear
Pricking to remind us we are here
Tricking us into thinking,
This is feeling
Our blooming, glorious pain
Numbed to life
Only to be pricked again
In some there’s the feeling…
A warm glow growing
Thawing the claw
FEAR
The byproduct of living
In a cruel and beautiful world
So too, the world revolves mute
Fear of change, fear of not changing right
Fear of loving, fear of not being loved right
Unaware, the world’s evolved
To feel the warmth,
Then the glow
Yet, the fate of this world
Remains an untapped potential
So carry on, carry on and let it be
Until we live into a world,
Of renaissance dreams
