A Passionate One

I Long for a Passionate One!
His force of being
Sweeping me off my feet
Taking me on an emotional ride
Circling love
Coiling laughter
Shared tears
Silenced fears
ANYTHING
I feel of a different chromosome
Striving to find something lost
Seeking discovery and adventure
While combing distant lands
I’ve denied security to allow space
To find our in-between
But alas he eludes me
This passionate one I speak
I saw him on the corner of Beveland and Grand
Flannel shirt, leather messenger
Coffee in hand
I saw him atop the Eiffel Tower
In the eye of a stranger’s land
Across the ocean void of bliss
Through the Siren’s whispering lips
Tempting me
Taunting me
To NEVER give up
Never throw in my lot and settle
So, here I sit
Spinning my rhyme
I long for a passionate one
Bloody hell he’s taking his time!
this is beautiful on all levels. tony
Thank you, Tony.
